Vision

Love God

Love God with all our heart. (Mt. 22:37, 38) As a local New Testament church, we must work and strive each day to drive each and every aspect of our church and the many ministries thereof with our love for God. We must continually look for ways to reach those that are unreached, and we can only do so by our love for God and our acknowledgement of His love for all of mankind. (1 John 4:19)
Love one another
Love one another. (John 13:34, 35) As a local New Testament church made up of Disciples for Christ, we must love one another. We must love one another that the world might know that we belong to Christ and are His disciples. This love is to be evident inside our church. This love is to extend beyond our church into our families, our community, and our world! This is a direct command that we must keep in the forefront of our mind!

Lead People to Christ
Lead people to Christ. (Mt. 7:14; James 5:20) As a local New Testament church, when we encounter lost folk individually or as a church whole, we must strive to be a direct roadmap to Christ. Our lives and our church should be a huge road sign pointing and leading folk to the saving knowledge of Christ! When people see us, we wish that they see Jesus as well!

Disciples
Lead Disciples to make more Disciples. (Mt. 28:19, 20) Discipleship is more than making converts to Christ. Discipleship is teaching converts to obey and live out the commands and teachings of Jesus Christ. Once a convert begins this, the Great commission is being lived out and disciples make more disciples and Christ’ Great Commission is fulfilled all the more! We must strive to teach and equip the disciples of STBC to make more disciples by following Christ’s commands and teaching.
Spiritual Restoration

Always be seen and known as a place of “Spiritual Restoration.” (Proverbs 18:10; Mt. 11:28—30) We aim to be well-known as a place that any and all can come to and feel the arms of righteous refuge wrap around them and saturate them with the presence of safety and sureness. Christ is the refuge for all saints and all sinners that come to Him. STBC wishes to be a place of healing & restoration to the spiritually wounded, emotionally scarred, and to those dead in the trespasses of their sins.
