LOVE YOUR COMMUNITY WEEK
February 15-21, 2026
WHAT IT IS: A week of giving and service projects aimed at sharing the love of Jesus with members of our community – with no strings attached.
WHY WE DO IT: Many of the traditional church outreaches are “come and see” type events. This week is about “go and tell” events aimed at getting into the community and sharing the love of Christ!
WHAT WE HAVE PLANNED:
- Leave a 100% tip for your server, and give them an “invite card”
- Give to “Strong Tower Loves Our Community”
- Lunch for our local first responders
- Coffee shop gift cards for hospital workers
- Cards, Flowers, and Gospel Cups to a Nursing Home
- Care packages to college students at ETSU BCM
- Let us know of a single mom for whom we could cover the cost of an oil change
- Donuts & coffee to local teachers and school staff
- Packing Gospel bags for 37615
- Snacks to the Hospital’s ICU waiting room & NICU
- Food City Vouchers
- Students take a gospel cup to their teachers
- Business owners take a gospel cup to their employees
- Help a shut-in/elderly/handicap/neighbor who can’t handle or afford the work
- Pay a certain amount of co-pays at a local pharmacy
- Provide coins/cash at a local laundromat
