Why get involved in ministry? Nowhere in the New Testament do you see christians sitting idle on the sidelines. Fact is, when we see folk being saved in the New Testament, most often, their household is saved shortly thereafter. We are living in the Church Age, God has elected to use His children in the Church to minister to one another as well as carry out the Great Commission to our Jerusalem, Samaria, and the uttermost parts of the world. In the world that we live in, everything competes for our time and our money, if we’re not careful, we will allow our life to be lived and wake up one day, and all of our time is nearing an end. How sad it is for the christian to spend their entire life in a selfish and self-centered way only to end up regretting we did not serve our lord through His Church and ministries. Paul gives us some sobering words in Romans 12:1–“ I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” No matter what level of service you choose to serve the Lord in or how much it costs you, Paul tells us that it is “reasonable.” Take a moment to browse through our ministry opportunities both Outward Focused as well as Inward Focused, if you find one or more that you’re interested in, just click on the “Ministry Opportunity Form” on the page and check which ministries you’re interested in and someone will be in contact with you soon. Thanks for your interest in serving the Lord through Strong Tower Baptist Church. —Pastor Ancel
